Cricket Injuries can occur on many parts of the body due long spells of repetitive action, poor throwing technique, previous injuries/falls but mainly due to fatigued weakened muscles with games lasting several hours/days. This can predispose you to a variety of shoulder, elbow, wrist, knee, ankle, hip, back, side pain and muscle injuries.
What do you feel?
Symptoms include restriction/stiffness, pain, cramping, pinching/catching, numbness, pins and needles, sharp shooting pain, burning, weakness, inability to sprint and stop suddenly affecting your throw and co-ordination. If left untreated conditions such as ankle sprain, shoulder impingement, elbow problems and side stitch can occur.
